Students connect with other students in classrooms worldwide that are partners with them. Stanley is basically an ambassador that gets to take a field trip to the visiting school, community, and country! |
What Makes it Good? |
• Facilitation - Teachers can choose a variety of topics, but students work will be topics of their interest • Differentiation - Students write at their own level • Relevance - "What is it like for kids like me in other parts of the world?" • ^Thinking Skills - Communication and empathy • Active Participation - Students have their own personal Stanleys • Real World - They communicate with real people globally. |
